Next Sunday, April 17, join us in Central Park for City Parks Foundation’s annual Run for the Parks! This New York City Marathon qualifying race has the distinction of being the largest one-day running event in Central Park, and kicks off the running season in New York City. Proceeds from the event will benefit CPF’s free programs in parks across the city.
Bring the whole family! The 4-mile race starts at 8:00 a.m., and the kids’ races will follow at 9:00 a.m.. Afterwards, be sure to swing by the post-race festival at the Naumburg Bandshell to take in the awards ceremony and enter for a chance to win the CPF raffle, courtesy of JetBlue.
