Year of the Rabbit: A Chinese New Year Celebration!

Professional Chinese performers Alan Chow, Rongrong Chen, Zhiqiang Wang, Gary Wu, and Xinli Chow will present an evening celebrating the rich culture and traditions of China. Highlighting the themes of East meets West and tradition meets tomorrow, masters of Chinese and Chinese-American music take audiences on a sonic journey through ancient tradition to modern innovation in a celebration of the Year of the Rabbit. The night promises to be a great start to the rise of an exciting lunar new year.

Presented in collaboration with Chinese American Arts Council

Chinese American Arts Council was established in 1975 to meet the cultural needs of the expanding Chinese community in New York City. It aims to preserve the Chinese heritage within its own community and to introduce its culture to the greater New York community. Today, it is hte largest Chinese-American arts presentation and service organization in the eastern United States. It presents many events annually at Lincoln Center, in Chinatown, and at other locations in New York and is recognized by New York City and state agencies as the arts liaison to the Chinese-American community.
