THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading supplier of products specifically designed for industrial safety and plant maintenance, is seeking a General Manager for its China-based operations.

They have a worldwide presence, with offices in China and Europe.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The General Manager will be responsible for overall operations, including sales channel development, marketing, fulfillment and staffing. The General Manager will develop and implement business strategies for China.

The General Manager will develop sales and marketing plans and lead business development activities to achieve growth targets for this strategically important market.

This highly visible position is ideal for the aggressive, goal-oriented business manager who is seeking an opportunity to have a significant impact on the growth of our client’s business in China and establish a leading market presence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position is based in Shanghai, China.

An excellent compensation plan, benefits and relocation assistance will be provided.

Job Requirements

* Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
* Experience in sales and marketing management, particularly distribution channel sales management.
* Experience in business management, including P&L management, strategic planning and implementation, as well as staff management.
* Willing to live in Shanghai and travel throughout China.
* Initial training will be in the US (about 2 months), then there will be periodic trips back to the US for business purposes.
* US Passport or Visa
