Full-time MBS Strategist/Modeler, NYC Metro, $125K + bonus potential

The MBS Strategy Modeling team develops prepayment and credit models for Mortgage-Backed Securities, and also develops tools, utilities, and processes used to support and run the models in production. This is a Front-Office role reporting to the business and requires frequent interaction with Modelers, Strategists, Traders, and Salespeople.

· 3+ years software development experience

· Solid development skills and significant experience with C, C++, and Perl

· Excellent communication skills

· Experience working in a Linux environment

· Technical degree - preferably in Computer Science or a quantitative degree with substantial programming experience

· Experience with Mortgage-Backed Securities

· Familiarity with Intex

· Excellent troubleshooting skills

· Experience working in a Front-Office environment
